Esplanade Grande reveals its splendour

Bognor’s new landmark development is unveiled

Scaffolding cloaking the idyllically located Esplanade Grande overlooking the shoreline at Bognor has been removed to reveal the architectural splendour of its Edwardian-style façade.  With the first phase of this landmark development nearing completion, owners have begun to move into their lavishly appointed apartments where every resident can enjoy breathtaking, uninterrupted sea views from their private, south facing balcony.

Almost 50% of Esplanade Grande has already been reserved and, with prices starting from only £225,000, these immaculate two and three bedroom apartments are attracting a lot of interest from buyers looking to downsize, retire or for a second home. Worthing based developers, Roffey Homes, are offering a Shared Equity Plan to purchasers over the age of 65.

The many unique styles of apartments and penthouses offer a superb choice of designs and fittings that can be personalised to suit individual requirements and tastes. Each apartment features customised, designer Italian kitchens fully fitted with AEG appliances and granite work surfaces, and sumptuous master bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and luxurious fully tiled en suites boasting both a shower and a bath.

Every care has been taken by family owned Roffey Homes to maximise comfort and security.  Traditional structural materials, such as solid concrete floors and blockwork walls, have been used to eliminate echoes and creaks, and retain warmth. All apartments benefit from underfloor gas central heating and a video entryphone system. There is a lift to every floor and gated access to secure undercover garages and parking bays.

Joint selling agents Michael Jones and Henry Adams have been overwhelmed at the level of interest in Esplanade Grande, which has had people virtually queueing to look round the show apartment.  Ellis Rodda, Sales Manager of Esplanade Grande, said: “What has been amazing, especially in the current economic climate, is the number of apartments that have been sold off plan. Now the building has been unveiled in all its glory and the market is beginning to pick up, I expect that we’ll get even more enquiries. This development is unparalleled in its exquisite attention to detail, high quality build specification and stunning location, there really is nothing like it.  It is simply the most spectacular for miles and will undoubtedly become the landmark building along this stretch of coastline.”

Managing Director of Roffey Homes, Ben Cheal, said “Our wish from day one was to construct a building that Bognor would be proud of for many years to come.  This was a glamorous place originally and we were determined to put some of that glamour back into the town and aid its revival as a premier seaside resort.”
