Development gets dignitaries’ seal of approval

A new, luxury development situated on the sea front at Bognor Regis – Esplanade Grande - was given the seal of approval by dignitaries at a champagne reception last week to celebrate its near completion. Officials, including the Chairman of Arun District Council and Mayor of Bognor Regis, praised its Edwardian-style architecture saying it was worthy of the town’s royal patronage and should be entered for design awards.

The Town Mayor, Cllr Eileen Anderson said: “I was delighted to attend the official reception heralding the near completion of the Esplanade Grande apartments. The development is very much in keeping with the style of the town, admirably reflecting its heritage and royal links.” She added how pleased she was that local contractors had been used, which was in the spirit of the recently signed Developer & Partner Charter for Bognor Regis Regeneration.

More than 60 councillors and professionals from firms in West Sussex attended the event hosted by developers Roffey Homes and joint selling agents Henry Adams and Michael Jones. Guests were treated to an exclusive preview of the most uniquely designed penthouse where they enjoyed captivating views of the horizon from the sun terraces along the front, rear and side of the property.

“Esplanade Grande has created a real buzz amongst professionals in the area as many are advising clients who have bought apartments here. We wanted to give them an opportunity to see for themselves what all the fuss is about and to mark the occasion with us. It’s not until you step inside this elegant building that you can really appreciate the spacious design and exquisite attention to detail that makes it truly exceptional” explained Susan Wadsworth of Henry Adams.

Managing Director of Roffey Homes, Ben Cheal, said “I am delighted with the comments we’ve received from our special guests and the fantastic reaction we’ve had from local residents. It was our wish from day one to construct a landmark building that celebrated the town’s rich heritage, which the local community would be proud of for many generations. The fact that we’ve achieved this and been able to sell as many apartments as we have in one of the worst economic climates in modern history speaks volumes about the quality of the design and build.”

Each apartment boasts the very latest in luxury fixtures and fittings that can be personalised to suit individual requirements and tastes. Designer Italian kitchens fully fitted with AEG appliances and granite work surfaces, sumptuous master bedrooms furnished with wardrobes and luxurious en suites with a shower and a bath reflect the high specification that has earned Roffey Homes an enviable reputation.

Over 50% of the two and three bedroom apartments have been sold and many owners have already moved into their lavishly appointed new homes with their own private, south facing balcony and undercover parking or garage. Prices for the remaining apartments start from £250,000 rising to £595,000. To arrange a viewing or for further details contact 01243 868682.
